Export data from Google Photos to Google Sheets

You can use Awesome Table Connectors to export from Google Photos to Google Sheets. Exporting to Google Sheets via Awesome Table Connectors allows you to access raw data, schedule refresh to get regular updates, and configure your output sheet's layout, among other features.

This article demonstrates how to use Awesome Table Connectors to get a list of photos from Google Photos and import it into Google Sheets. You can use your own Google Photos account and follow along.

Prerequisites
You have logged in with the Awesome Table Google Photos connector.
  1. Open the Select data drop-down and select what you want to export.

    We are importing Photos & Videos.

  2. (Optional) Add one or more filters.

    1. Open the Filters drop-down and click Add.

    2. Choose what type of filter you want to apply. We are filtering by media type. Click Media type.

      note

      You can also filter data by Content type, Date or Date range, or Favorites.

    3. Choose an option for the Media type filter. We are importing photo data only. Click Photo.

  3. (Optional) In the Output options, configure how your data will be inserted into your spreadsheet.

  4. (Optional) Use Preview to choose the columns you need, edit their names, and configure a sort order.

    1. Click Preview.
      A new window opens.
    2. Make the changes you want.
    3. Click Apply changes.
  5. Click Run to start your request.
    Awesome Table Connectors informs you if you successfully exported to Google Sheets.


You have successfully imported photo data from Google Photos to Google Sheets. Successful requests are automatically saved and displayed in the Home screen.
